I find F1 to be pretty boring these days, and I usually fast-forward through the middle 1/2 of the race. I do find it challenging to understand tire selections and pit strategies, the undercut, etc. I give a lot of credit to the guys calling the races live (I watch the SkySports feed). They must have a pretty good crew reviewing things and talking into their ears.

The cars don't seem any louder to me this year. I thought they would, with the dual exhausts.

Looks like we're set for faster cars next year, which is great news.

SkySports interviewed Gene Haas during the race and asked him about the new radio regulations... he seemed pretty dumbfounded at everything they asked him. Not sure if he's just a dolt, or possibly he was star-crossed for being interviewed.

Pretty stunning result to finish 6th. Simply amazing!
