I repaired my Ipad Air from a kit on Amazon - search for highest rated kit you can find.
Not fun at all, glass shattered and spent HOURS getting every little piece out. Thank the stars I hate TV - I spent a whole evening in the dining room pulling microscopic glass shards out of the Ipad.
I would do a Nano or an Iphone given that experience but - Next time, if it is an Ipad - I pay someone.
