I was laying there on the table with the IV port in my wrist. Here comes the doc with the syringe of happy juice and plugs it in and injects. IMMEDIATELY I feel like my arm is on fire. Then my arm feels like my arm is going to explode. I'm yelling. I'm screaming. They are standing there just looking at me and finally (about 15 seconds) the nurse realizes that the blood pressure cuff was pumped UP! There was no room in my vein for my blood plus the contents of the syringe. The nurse rips the cuff off and the juice surges and I'm out. If that vein had ruptured it would have gotten really intense fast.

I just had my second one. BP cuff was on my left arm, IV in my right hand. First one I didn't hydrate enough before the prep, and they almost couldn't find a vein for the IV.
Did anyone here get any advice about rebuilding or replacing your gut bacteria after? I didn't and I'm having issues now. I've also seemed to have lost the ability to properly digest Mexican food, which sucks, because I really like Mexican food.
