Yeah. I've been put in that position a few times in the recent past. And truth be told part of what colors me perspective is that I've been the guy getting the deal and now, years later, I feel a little dirty being party to it.
I've posted before about the 70T targa that I sold to Europe for $10k that I paid $1k for. I only owned and drove the car for less than a year before I sold it to help fund my business. But when I bought it, I knew it was a $6k car. I snatched that car. I didn't flip it, but I sure as hell stole it. Nowadays I wouldn't handle it the same way.
