The registration fee is for the entire week but it is very reasonable. Individual fees apply to some events but you don't have to pay for anything you don't want to do. There are many areas you can not access without being registered. If you just want to look at cars, be there Sunday (concours prep) and Monday (concours judging). TSD is usually Tuesday, AutoX Wednesday-Friday with tours and various other stuff mixed in. I always avoid the banquets (long, boring, stuffy and banquet food in order to sample local eating establishments). I started attending when I was 32, so it is not ALL old people, although at 50 I am lowering the average age!
