We looked at the XC60 and ended up with a Toyota Venza (price).
My father in law has the XC60 and it is a nicer vehicle to drive than the Toyota. His second Volvo (first was a V8 XC90). As the XC90 aged, it started to nickle and dime him until it was no longer reliable but the first ten years it was pretty much bullet proof save for a wheel bearing replacement under warranty. He also clocks a lot of miles on his cars.
