I am a big Land Rover fan currently owning 08 and 09 LR3's and a 13 LR4. They have been fantastic cars. However, a friend bought a Disco Sport and it is complete piece of junk. I think that it has been in the shop more than 7 times and he is trying to get them to take it back under the lemon laws. I got one as a loaner at the dealership and did not like it at all. Transmission was not smooth and did not have the Land Rover feel that I like. I find that it takes a couple of years for Land Rover to work the kinks out of their designs. The first year LR3's were problematic but they become more reliable after about 08.
