so hey rattlsnak, you are one of the guys I've been reading for years now...but I don't think we've every communicated directly...so hi, nice to meet you. Somewhat local to you, so maybe we've actually met.
anyway......I think I know what caused me to start posting in this ****ed up thread.
Sometimes when I get to work a little early, or need to take a break, I'll go over to the tech forum, and just open a bunch of threads in tabs across the top, and read and close as I go.
well, I guess it was Thursday morning, I must have accidently opened this thread. Don't remember doing it, but when I started reading, I was like: "what is this?"
"o.k" I thought. I like hearing about crazy goings on on the road as much as the next guy (again, almost like that train wreck thing.) When I finished reading Bafoon's post, All I could think about was standing on the side of the road with my little girl, and being in a state of panic by what he says he did. I was thinking of how just that morning I sat on her bed listening to her breathing before I left for work. I started thinking of what is something had gone wrong for this guy and he accidently wiped this family out? What if instead of them, it was my wife and daughter here in TN that was plowed into by some manic in a porsche.
I mean, like I've said, I am sure we all make questionable decisions on the road at times, perhaps we drive faster than we should, take those chances that almost always work out. No harm no foul...
but then to freaking brag about this particular situation? On WAYNE'S SITE? I just had to open my mouth. Glad I did.
I didn't even know this Bafoon existed. I had never notice any of his threads in the past. (now I know why, they really are not of any technical value, and surely did not play any part in the development of my car....)
I looked him up, checked out a little of his history on this BBS. It's not much of one.
Sure, more post than me, but whatever.
And it's quite obvious by reading his post in his own thread here, and the others I've checked out, like I said earlier in this thread....he brings nothing but the weakest of sauces to table. weak weak stuff man.
I just noticed something else. The gentleman named juan? He states in his sig that he breeds zebra finches!! How cool is that, right?
BUT.....what does our Bafoon do? check it out, he replies to him with this:
"I missed the part where I said whether I have raced or not. Yes 2 wheels, on dirt and track, 4 wheels on track and we will see about wings. So while I have been racing almost all of my life, I have never felt the need to use it as a qualifier. But, do show us pictures of your racing finches......"
AND.....AND....this is the idiot with a FAKE quote in his sig.
