That doesn't appear to be nuclear weapons bunker and I have been in a few North of there. Doors are 3 feet thick. That looks like small arms and munitions .

Well, not according to historians & Marines who guarded them, Nukes were stored in some of these. Don't think a 3 foot thick door would hold back the black of a bomb 75 times more powerful that what was dropped on Japan.

But Yellow Water is far from typical, civilian experts say, because it is used to store the ultimate Cold War nightmare - nuclear weapons.

Although few Floridians know it, as many as 200 nuclear warheads are believed to be kept at Yellow Water, which is located off busy Normandy Boulevard next to Cecil Field Naval Air Station.

Until then Florida is stuck with a surplus of Navy nuclear arms in its back yard, some 75 times more powerful than the atomic bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, in August 1945.

The weapons include short-range bombs that can be dropped from aircraft, warheads for Tomahawk cruise missiles and nuclear depth charges, said William Arkin, director of military research for the environmental group Greenpeace International in Washington.
