solid outer engine mounts ???

OK so here I am needing help again. COmes with putting together a car someone else took apart I guess.

I am doing the sideshift conversion on a 71. I am at the point of installing the engine YEAH! I have the trasmission mounts all cleaned up and ready to go. I installed new rubber INNER engine mounts to the crossmember. All is good so far.

In chosing what pieces and parts to use from my large box of misc hardware that came with the car, and the outer mounts that were hanging in the hellhole. and looking at diagrams online. It would seem that the OUTER engine mounts are not much more than a bolt, and a flatish plate a washer and nut. Is this correct? no rubber dampeners, or anything else to worry about?

I understand the original tailshift option was for non-solid mounts here, and many have suggested solid is the way to go with sideshift. so I am just hoping for some verification, as it seems odd to simply bolt it directly onto the car with no rubber vibration absorbing material at the outer attachment points.

Thanks in advance!

Jim
