Interesting, albeit poorly produced, video. Not super surprising, on a track with long straights I think the 930 would have beaten the Boxster but still probably not passed the 996. The 996 has similar power to weight, no lag, and the benefit of 15 years worth of development and technology.

I've driven all of them, and owned plenty of 986s and 996s. Both are screaming deals for what you get, especially the 986 Boxster which is fantastic to drive. Someday I suspect another 986 or 996 will join my SC in the garage.

Just an aside, if you are going to market your cars in a Youtube video, make sure they are sorted first. All were filthy with lots of swirls in the paint, the 986 top was in terrible shape and didn't fit correctly and the 911SC badge was about to fall off.
