Actually, the Chinese made "Bosch" relays are a little off. They do not seat quite flush into the relay socket. I compared a new relay and an old German (or at least European made) relay in old and new OEM relay sockets and sure enough there is something that keeps the Chinese relay from seating all the way. I even put a small amount of silicone grease on the relay pins to aid insertion but it still stops with about a .040 to.060 inch gap between the bottom of the relay and the socket. It appears the pin spacing or length is a little out of specification. This problem doesn't immediately impede functionality but I am concerned the Chinese relays will eventually "walk their way" out of the sockets causing an electrical circuit failure. For an essential circuit like a fuel pump it would be worth a premium price to have a better fitting relay. Jim
