It just takes a little more to get us upset than you I guess.
It was looking dismal all season long for the Canadian Teams.
Calgary is undergoing (another) rebuilding phase along with the team from the north of us that shall remain nameless
. Vancouver just sucked all season long. The Leafs are, well they are the Leafs. The Habs started strong and a few injuries to a few key people took them down.
I thought the mighty Peg would do better than they did....
Ottawa showed some glimpses of promise but that was about it.
I certainly would rather watch the group of young guys that the flames have now than that same old stagnant pool of talent that were associated with Jerome.
I would have liked them to have a shot but unfortunately for us and for the Canadian networks with the broadcasting rights, there won't be a great deal of NHL playoff hockey watched north of the border. Perhaps our families will be happier though.....
