You can find a thread on one of his MAF setups
here. I believe Sal is a proponent of using MAF as the load-sensing method in EFI systems (as opposed to MAP or TPS), so in that sense, he would probably argue that a plenum is better choice because it allows use of a MAF. Personally, I prefer the look and sound of the exposed velocity stacks.
