I slid a nut over the stud till about 2 inches above the case and mig welded it from both sides. heated the case 15 minutes with the torch. (use plain steel nut). Put a ring spanner and an 1.5 foot breaker bar on it. On the ones broken off just above the case I put a washer onto it to protect the case and mig welded also a steel nut on it. Heated the case again for 15 min. All 24 studs came out including the 7 broken dilivar studs. When I delivered my parts to the machine shop the owner said to me " We put the case in an oven and take them out for free as we hate solving client mishaps" Still very satisfying to have done it myself.
