This is my 15$ hardware store version. Worked like charm and took 15 minutes to build.
All you need is a regular 2ton jack with top plate removed. 2x6 is bolted to it through a two metal plates working like a sandwich. 2 more 2x6 transversally screwed with some rubber pad nailed to it.
Used regular scissor type jack and one more jack stand under the transmission.
The whole thing can be put on jack stands and the jack can then be removed from underneath in case you need that same jack to lift the car higher.
