Cayenne already has 2 additional power plugs besides the lighter up front. Keep a phone charging cord plugged in.

Been thinking about upgrading the Radio/Nav in the Cayenne. 2004 was before the iPhone so it don't do the bluetooth call/music thing. It would cost almost as much to update the Nav maps to 2013 as it would to put in a new head unit with bluetooth. Besides the iPhone and updated NAV, the Dynavin does the interface with the MOST and Canbus and so looks and works just like the stock Nav. It works with the Bose and steering wheel buttons. It also sees the parking sensors adding a nifty graphic for the beeping and lights it currently has.

Would like to add a double din head unit with Nav to the 928, but it would take major editing of the center console and that seems to kill the resale value. I could find another console and the HVAC etc and keep the originals to put back in if I want to sell it. They've come out with some new in-dash PCs that would fit better depth wise so could do a custom console and add a PC that would give me all the functions of a new head unit, and let me run stuff like the ECU tuning software for the car, or track data video/timing software. That's what I wanted to do when I could still drive in anger. Probably end up just getting a new 1 din head unit that does the iPhone things and stick the iPhone to the windshield for a NAV display.

This day and age having hands free in-car iPhone integration would be nice.
