The base 944 has about 150hp. Market seems to be from $3000 to $4500 for a nicer enthusiast sorted one. I am guessing they are not popular since they are not all that fast, yet are still expensive to repair.
944 S has 190-210HP. Seems a much better value than the base 944. Market seems to be $6k to $9k, the top end being low miles, original, etc.
944 Turbo has 220 to 250 HP, and is obviously the one people want. Middle of market seems to be $10k, while top of the market seems to be $17k to $20k. (Orig, low miles, etc)
