You can disable the airbags in the 993 by disconnecting them (disconnect the battery first!). Then just remove the annoying light. If you have a newer Porsche you need the SW to do this. I used Durametric and it was a snap.

Of course I would never disconnect them without using a six point harness and racing seat/helmet etc. in their place.....

Not to make this a 993 specific thread, but when I installed my Momo wheel, I used a metal film resistor within the disconnected airbag wiring harness to "trick" the system into thinking the airbag was still present...thus no error lights.
