well brian here's a picture but before we all celebrate the repair I have to report that yesterday the cruise did not work..?? - no response to controls at all - so it seems I have more fixin to do - the part number on it is 928.617.127.00 - seems the same part was used for everything up to 86 or so - the black rectangular box on the left side in the picture is a relay - that is where I discovered a break in the solder - could be a common weak spot - that's where i'll start looking again - I guess cruise is not that important right now but if I ever go on a long drive in this i'd want it to work - plus I just like it when things work correctly
