top end oil leak fix?
Hey all, I've got a nasty oil leak on the pass. side where the cam tower meets the heads. It's coming from a spot about an inch long. I already inspected and there are NO broken head studs, so that isn't the problem. Seems to be just the cam tower gasket has split or gone south.
Can one just remove that cam tower and reseal it all?
Yes I know this requires an engine drop, no big deal there, been there done that, and yes I will buy the correct cam sproket removal tool.
