Used Zaino since my white 944 Turbo. After doing the guards red 928 GT had the local detail guy do it. He got it so much more shiny I got pulled over twice the next morning driving downtown and within 3 miles of each other. I wasn't doing anything wrong, the cops just couldn't resist and told me watch myself. Still kept using Zaino because though it was not as shiney as the detail guys job, it lasted much longer.
Kept using zaino until I got the darker blue 94 GTS. It showed a lot more imperfections. At the car wash it would get a film on the car that made swirls and required the Zaino Cleaner and Wax to get rid of. Even wiping the dust of with a car duster makes scratches. Washed it at home with Zaino soap and still got swirls but not as bad. The Zaino itself also got tiny scratches on it. Even using their special wash mits and drying towels. Again had to do the Zaino Cleaner/Wax to get rid of them and make it look good again. Looked fantastic when done, but decided I really don't like having to re-wax the car every time it needs washed.
Had the detail guy do all that fancy stuff on the Cayenne. It's been a year and just using the drive thru car wash it still looks really good. Says he uses different coating and wax based on the car make.
