Good additional info. Not having a family to raise will be a plus. I don't know anyone there whose kids did terribly well - it is all about having decent friends when growing up. High elevation mountains do have pine forests, grass etc., so you can get that fix. Also, no family means you can always move again pretty easily - so you may give it a shot!
