I don't know about "world's greatest", but Badfish (Sublime cover/tribute band) have always been fun to see. Also have enjoyed the following:
Who's Bad: Michael Jackson
Zoso: Led Zeppelin
Abbey Road: The Beatles
Slippery When Wet: Bon Jovi
Again, all fun times, but not sure about "world's greatest" status.
