rick...true, the middies were dissed so badly that many are gone. however, my first 911 was a 77 and it was a great car. Really an excellent blend of early 911 and the later SC/Carerra. I kept if for 15 years. Also, the 2.7 engine, once the known issues have been addressed, are great engines and one of my favorites to build into 911 hot rod engines.........

PS: The last three 3.0 engines I rebuilt all had broken head studs.........so , although they are touted as one of the best 911 engine..and I agree.....even they have their weakness..........
