Or you can log everything and download the maps auto tune, tweak them with nice graphical maps then upload them back. Also lets you set it for different injector sizes, red line cutoff, idle rpm, when wot map kicks in, timing advance parameters, basically anything that can be set on the cars computer. It is called the Shark Tuner. Pretty cool for a 94 car.

The Shark Tuner is made by a guy name John Speake in England. Jim Corenman is his USA rep and has been tuning and tweaking 928s for a long time. Jim sent me the drawings and specs for the x-pipe they developed that gets the best results for my engine, cams, and headers. Even has a base map for my upgrades to start tuning from. They are telling me we should get 380 to 400 rwhp. Not bad for an NA car that was 350 at the crank stock. Guy the just did the cams like I have got 360 rwhp every thing else stock.

Mustang dyno time would speed up the tuning process tons though. And lets you run it thru it's paces without the risk of tickets.

Got the Shark Tuner when I put the different cams in after the driver's side valves crashed from a cam breaking. The guys putting on superchargers use the Shark Tuner also. There is a stock octane switch the supercharger guys use for a valet mode that changes maps so they can change the throttle map, timing, and redline to make the car a dog without hurting anything. Because once it's tuned it tuned some guys just get the chips and several share the cost of the Shark Tuner interface and software.
Sorry I was thinking of the pepper wagon not the 928! We don't have anything for the older cars!
