I have a a nice 1974 2.7S engine. The engine number is 6342343 which was used for 911S and U.S. Carrera engines.

I build 911 hot rod engines and I am ready to modify this engine and build it into a RS+ spec....but...and it's a big butt.....this is, I believe a one year only configuration. Early , simplified CIS (like the 73.5) but 2.7 with early heat exchanger headers, etc. Also, these were rated at 175hp vs. the 165hp of the later middies. A very cool engine, as is........

Runs great and leak down is 4-6% on all cylinders.

Any interest in this engine, as is, from the Carrera U.S. crowd or should I just forge ahead and defile it.?

regards,
al
