I set mine up so that the little 'eyebrows' that were over the top of the 2 outboard LED's, which keeps the light coming off of them shining upwards. If anyone else has the 7th gen Phillips LED's from SiriusLED and has rotated them differently, I'd be interested in their opinion.

I placed the wiring as best as I could in the bucket, but I'm not sure if when in place it'll end up making contact. Either way, I don't drive for very long at night so like you said, it shouldn't be getting too hot in there.
I have my 'eyebrows' placed the same way btw!
