I wouldn't be afraid of that mold at all. In areas of hot humid weather, it will grow in cars that are closed up in dry garages. It seems to particularly like vinyls and leathers, maybe something to do with treatments like armor all. Yes, there are molds that can cause health issues, but most garden varieties are harmless to normal healthy people. Great find.
