For an engine that has never been rebuilt, it's unusual to see a red fan and turbo lower valve covers.
It's also unusual for a 911 engine to only cover 40K miles in 27 years. So I'd be putting a core price on the engine and trans.
Used engines fall into 4 categories: documented pro rebuilds, amateur rebuilds, tested and 'only anecdotes.' Pricing follows the same order.
