I own the 4 door equivalent with the same engine (M113K) in a 2006 E55 AMG and I've owned the car for 7+ years and the performance is staggering. Ownership has been quite inexpensive too, I do all my own maintenance at home and I had a few warranty items taken care of by the MB dealer (I purchased the extended warranty).
The interior looks brand new and the car still looks great, and is extremely well built, no squeaks and creeks and no electrical issues.
I recommend ownership!
