These AMG cars have 8 piston front Brembos and 4 piston in the rear. The brakes are larger and more powerful than anything offered from Ferrari or Lamborghini from the same years.
My car has been tastefully modified in the years I've owned it as MB left some room on the table to tune them. I'm at 580hp and over 600ft.lbs of torque, and the car is quite light on its feet. I had an opportunity to run against a Gallardo recently, and he couldn't keep up with my family wagon  |
Nice, I've always thought that an AMG Merc sounded pretty appealing as a cruiser. The missus loves to ride in the Boxster, but I suspect she'd like something a bit more luxurious even more. I love to drive the boxster, but there are times when cruising with the missus when it would be nice to have an auto trans.
