The engine? I'm not sure. The PO had written a letter to the DMV in 1985 describing a lot of engine work such as a top end re-build. But I don't think it was ever driven after 1985. There is a folder with registration paperwork for every year between 1985 and 1991, including the license plate sticker for each year still in its respective envelope. Since the sticker was in the envelope and not on the car, I have to assume it wasn't on the road.
After dealing with all the fluids and electrical restoration, I'll fire up the engine and see if it needs a rebuild. That won't for for a few months.
