Reminds me of the time I was down at my dad's boat that he kept in Galveston. His boat slip was just across the marina canal from the public boat ramp. We watched a guy back his trailer down to the water's edge and get his boat ready to launch. He hopped in his car, backed up rapidly a few yards and slammed on the brakes. The boat slid off the trailer like a rocket and plunged into the water, careening of into the dock. The guy jumped out of his car and ran down the dock to secure his boat. He then looks up to see his car float by. He forgot to take it out of gear and it proceeded to back the rest of the way down into the water. They called a tow truck to pull it out. The poor guy was beside himself. He rushed up to the car and opened the door. The door flung open knocking him down and adding insult to injury about drown him with all the water emptying out of the car.
