Yah it happens all the time. last thread I posted in about this I was at around 30 people but now more like 50..no exaggeration. I always tell em the same thing while not stopping what Im doing meanwhile. Most of the idiots pull up and yell something from the middle of the street. "Hey the Porsche guy" Any for sale? I always say the same Fvking thing. Not right now but when I do it aint gonna happen in the middle of the street and the cars will be marketed through proper channels. Then they wanna know what that means. Then they ask what years are they and how many miles. I have a 78, 80, and 88 . So some clown last Saturday says ..hey if you dont wanna give me a deal well ok. I said dude there are no deals with air cooled porsches right now. Then he offers me 15 grand for the Targa. Ive already turned down 3 or 4 cash offers of 25 grand for the car. My cars are very well sorted, all the way through. So I yelled back to the guy...dude there are no cars like this for 15 grand and he goes "oh yah there out there". I said God bless ya and good luck to ya. And next time you come by bring a bunch of 100 dollar bills and Ill give ya 50 each for them
