I sold my dump truck/plow truck. I was sort of looking for an old wrecker with a wheel lift. I was going to also put a plow on, and use it as a dedicated lot truck . Plow snow, and move disabled vehicles
A guy I used to know, passed away in the middle of a restoration of a 1978 chevrolet k 3500 tow truck. I went and looked at it today, and although it is still dissassembled, man, it is pretty sweet. Really retro cool, I could totally see it sitting in my lot . He was a good body man, and really did a nice job on this . It also comes with a plow
Only drawback, sling only , no wheel lift . I am thinking the sling would mess up plastic bumpers as found on most everything on the road today.
I am not looking to get into the towing business, just want to be able to move a disabled car from my lot, into the shop by myself .
Anybody have any experience with these ?
