showing boost at idle
This is on the 3.3 bus motor. I sent the 7006 to Evergreen Turbo a few months back for a rebuilt and some mods. Since re-installing it I now show .3 boost at idle. What would cause this. Not sure what to look for.

What type of gauge? Electric with a sender or a mechanical gauge?

What happens if you remove the sender, plug the hole and start the car. Looks like 3 wires go to the sender, does it require a ground path through the engine to work?

The gauge has been working fine for the past 5 yrs. I swapped out the k27 7200 for the 7006. Didn’t start to get the boost at idle until I did the swap.
Sometimes the gauge sits on the vacuum side at idle, then moves into a low boost reading.

You got any details on what evergreen has done? Once mine is running I will be shopping for something better than the 3LDZ.

The 7006 got a smaller #9 turbine housing that responds faster with more low & midrange power and more linear. The bus has a 5 speed and I'm not looking for the punch in the back.
He also modified the K27-7200 that's in the 930 with a his Raptor RS up grade, which gives you that punch in back. Has 2 versions of that up grade. Best to talk to him about what you want to achieve.

Here is some info that I posted years ago, might help with diagnosing if your sender is the culprit.
Here are the normal resistance values for the sender: 0.0 Bar: 5 - 13 Ohms 0.9 Bar: 117 - 129 Ohms (mine reads 112 at .8 bar)
