The Fabspeed Motorsport 930 Turbo Factory Slantnose
Hey Everyone,
I wanted to share one of our favorite project cars, our 930 Turbo Factory Slantnose (the elusive Option 505 aka "Flachbau"). It's a raw ride that we all appreciate and when the turbo spools you can't help but smile! ![]() Check out our highlight reel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsErmE521Wc Read about the origins and mod / development path in Excellence Magazine: [/IMG]![]() ![]() Our most recent update was the addition of a freshly rebuilt K27 turbo (with updated internals) and a new Fabspeed Zork tube. ![]() You can see all the components that we used in the build below: Porsche 911 Turbo / 930 (1976-1989) exhaust, Intake and ECU upgrades - Alec

The factory slants always look so much sharper to me than the kits. Can't put my finger on why. Love the Fabspeed exhaust. In Michigan we need the heat, and it works as well as the stock system in that regard.
I gather the stock air cleaner box does not fit the Fabspeed intercooler without the "RUF notch"? |

Developed on our own project street and race vehicles, the Fabspeed intercooler is designed to fit the OEM air cleaner box and is a direct bolt-on replacement for OEM intercooler. The increased surface area and internal volume allows for much greater heat dissipation, increasing power and sustaining it by preventing heat soak. Not just for track use, our intercooler also shines on a street car where the OEM intercooler falls short from the factory. The Fabspeed intercooler also features no O-Rings for a leak proof charge and uses gaskets and shields to seal intercooler to stock deck lid like the Porsche Factory System If there are any other questions, I'd be happy to help! - Alec

Very nice, red is the fastest color! Looks good but please change those wheels as this car deserves better. Chrome doesn't get you home, polished wheels just don't look right on these cars unless the car has bright trim to go along with them. Just my OCD observation lol.

While I agree that Chrome wheels don't always work, these vintage HRE's are showstoppers in person!

That's sick.
Would be interesting to see a comparison between stock IC, a few high dollar and a few low cost versions... Is a $2500.00 IC 5 times better than a $500 IC? |
