Best of luck with the sale. I was a little sad when I first saw you post it in the for sale section after getting the car finished.
Again good luck Mike |

Thanks. Unfortunately I was involved in a road bike accident earlier this year and can no longer Drive. I'll be listing the turbo bus next.

Wow Harold. Your post makes me realize whatever issues I'm facing right now are minor. I've ridden many miles over the years. Wish you best in your future and recovery. I don't know you but we all share a common love so it's sobering to read about someone having to make the decisions are you making. You must be one mentally and physically strong man. All the best to you and your family.

Gumba - Saw the car go live yesterday on BaT and will definitely drop a plug in the comments for you.
So sorry to read of your cycling accident and you have to sell the DP and the Turbo Bus, I know how much you love both those vehicles. Wishing you a speedy recovery and good health. Yasin

Ugh. Harold, I am so sorry to hear of your accident and resulting sale of your two cherished builds. I wish you all the best on your recovery, and the best results for your auctions. Hopefully you are not in too much pain.
Sorry to lose you here as well, always enjoyed your contributions and the TurboBus vicariously through your build... Be well! |

One of the nicest cars I saw ... my advice not to sell it, go into the garage and put a thick blanket over it. Such beautiful eyes (lights) when they open.
Sad to hear about your accident, all the best for your recovery. Dominik |

Well that just sucks to hear. I'm really sorry to hear that, Harold, and wish you a full recovery.
I hope the auctions are strong and both sell for big $.

Someone got a killer deal on your car.
I hope it goes to a great home and the owner continues his journey with us on this board.

That's got to be very painful to let something go that you've put so much into.
Good luck with the next chapter of your life, hopefully the injury isn't too limiting. Now the new owner needs to make their introduction!
