Get the system your local tuner knows best! You can buy the best ECU on the market (e.g: MOTEC), but if your tuner hasn't had any experience tuning it, then it won't perform at it's optimum best.
Talk to a few local tuning houses and find out what they use/recommend and make up your mind then... unless of course you plan to install and tune the thing yourself? If that's the case, then buy whatever you desire ![]() Personally, I'm about to take delivery of a Protomotive MAP Motronic ECU shortly (i.e: next week). It's a drop in replacement for my factory Motronic ECU and already comes calibrated for my engine specs (3.3L EFI with GT2 CAMs). The tune should be 98% accurate to get me up and going fast

I have the DTA P8 in my car. I would also highly recomend that you buy locally if you can. It is REALLY hard for someone to diagnos why your car is running like ***** when they are 1/2 way around the world. Much easier to bring the car to them.
I think the DTA is a good unit. I have had a few problems with it but I think I would have those same problems with other systems as well. IOW, it is my lack of experience in tuning that has made it hard to tune. Have fun

The DTA P8 is a good unit, I have one on my 930. Lots of features for the price and the software is easy to use. With any ECU the most difficult part is startup (at various engine temperatures) then idle, then cruising conditions at various loads. Wide Open throttle is the easiest part! I would consider using Autronic SM2 or Motec if I was doing it again but at the time price was better for the DTA. I did buy my crank pulley/sensor wheel from goingsuperfast, but if you are in France you should look for a local supplier for the DTA unit so support is easier.
This is the user forum for DTA. Read about peoples problems and solutions! (lots of european users on the forum) http://dtaforum.psycode.com/

Thanks for your first answers....
I didn't mention that I need an EFI with the ability to manage those following caracteristics..... twin-plug ignition / 962 heads / 3.5 L / 7.5/1 twin-injectors/cylinder...because I got a 3.2 manifold with 2 injectors / pipe... twin-turbo system SC cams... I would like to manage the twin-injectors depending of the rpm and of the loading of the engine...for exemple.... soft cruising....only one ijector working hard cruising or racing position....both working with flow depending of the rpm.... Does DTA, MOTEC, ELECTROMOTIVE or any other able to do that...?

If you REALLY want to run 12 injectors, you may have to go with a high end Motec box like the M800.

The SDS EFI system I used can support two injectors per runner so they are staged to activate at a preprogrammed load point.

Haltech also supports staged injection. We built our 935 clone with ITBs and two injectors/barrel. The first set of injector fires when the engine is running normally. The second set of injectors starts to fire when the engine is in boost.
Haltech Also try to buy the ECU locally..

The DTA P8 will run two injectors per cylinder, and will allow offset spark per cylinder for twin plug applications. It also has a few auxilary inputs and outputs which can be used for just about anything. I would suggest downloading the DTA P8 software (free) and poking around in it.

The motec M400, M600, M880 can all run two injectors per cylinder the difference will be batch firing on the m400 versus sequential firing on the M600 or M880. You may want to pm Geoffrey Ring the resident Motec guru on this board, he is gring here.

DTA P8 will do sequential injectors as long as you have a cam sensor.
