How far 930 speedo goes
Hello, please don´t laugh, i´m not very formular with the 930.
I could get an 930 from 5/77 but the speedo shows 150mph max. I think this is from the normal 911 isn´t it? I´m little bit afraid of odometer rollback, on the other side, the car has more than 130000mls. Thx for helping a 930 rookie Tom

You are in luck. I just happen to have a pic right here:
![]() That is from an '87. A '77 may very well stop at 150. I'll look around for another pic..

Hey Bill,
great reaction, it´s unbelivable here in. Thanks. That´s the question, when does the 76/77 930 stops. I think there must be a difference. Tanks for helping Tom

I believe it does stop at 150 for a '77, but I'm still looking around.

I've seen the 200 mph speedos on Ebay. I thought about getting one, but I figured it would just be harder to read since everything would be smaller.

I believe it is OEM, if you look around 11:00 in the photo, you'll see a 911 part number. Les

Oh, I see now. I missed that. They probably changed over in '86 to the KM/H & MPH combo.
