Lol

Great find. This guy has no idea.

That's funny,

judging by the pics, it's just a few boogered cooling fins on 2 cylinders

He could have done a better job explaining it though...

WTH with the cobble stone view within the piston?
Is he trying to magnify the piston defect?

I’m all over this deal :D

Hmm, I have my set sitting in a box, all cleaned up and ready to be sold... If he is asking that price...I should be able to get alot more for mine... but was only thinking of asking 500 bucks...

Not to mention...mine have no chips...LOL

They were replaced because....

That's what I thought. They are paper weights now.

was that directed at me?? ...LOL

If so, I changed mine because I wanted to up the C/R and up the bore size, as well as full fin cooling

No, no. It was to the ebay guy. They were replaced because they were damaged.

If anyone's interested, I have a set of 3.4 Mahle pistons I took out of my engine. I don't have rings or cylinders, but they're in good condition and were checked by EBS before I decided to go with JE for more compression.

lawman:
Since I just found oil ring parts in my sump, I started checking the market also. I saw those P&C the other day and just had to laugh. It is always good to find humor in gloom.
Evidently, everyone else just laughed it off too, since it had no bids.
