K27 to intercooler up pipe adapter
Can anyone point me to a source for an adapter that will mate up the bottom end of a stock intercooler air pipe to a K27 turbo? For stock K26 applications, the compressor exit is fitted with an O'ring that allows the air pipe to slip and fit nicely over it, whereas the K27 has a smaller diameter (and I think somewhat shorter) compressor exit that won't work with the stock pipe. I've been living with it by using a rubber coupler and hose clamps to mate the two together, but heat and flex in the coupler sometimes cause the pipe to pull loose from the intercooler and lose the seal. I'm just looking for a more rigid coupler to the turbo....CNC'd aluminum or some such thing, grooved to accept O'rings.
