DP Turbo Tail
Are there any identifying marks on a DP extended turbo tail?
I just picked up a piece from a race shop and it looks like the DP tail, has a nice quality to it and is molded to fit an oem rubber lip. Thanks Andrew M

I think the original DP tails had "DP" embossed into the tail.
Care to post up some pics???

Andrew are you building a turbo now? I keep thinking about that early bumper you have.

I started that thread above but had no response. My DP car has a regular factory Porsche tail rubber with the Porsche embossed crest. I noticed that embossed DP emblem on an Ebay car.

Nice! A Dp tail from DP Motorsports in Germany costs an arm and a leg! Last time I looked into it, it cost something like 1,600 Euros
![]() You can get exact f/glass replica's from Rennspd for significantly cheaper tho ![]()

Well, I'm still not 100% sure of what I have - It's looks pretty old and has a few marks from being on the shelf for so long. There are no DP logos on it, so it may be a repro (although most repros I've seen include a molded lip and no provision for an oem rubber one). Construction looks to be a mix of fiberglass mat with woven cloth for strength.
Any ideas? Thanks Andrew M ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yeah, that does look like a repro DP/Kremer unit... shoot Rennspd an e-mail with these pics. It might be one of theirs? Or perhaps Better Bodies Motorsports?
