barn find 1979 with 930 38 miles

I have posted on renn but thought i would post here too
found these cars just sitting in a wearhouse for about thirty
years .

Thanks for posting. I tried to follow the links on Renn. but the popcorn guy was messing up the link.

Nice find. I would like to hear the story on how these came about. Did you know the guy that stored them away?

I had a neighbor in my Huntington Beach Porsche storage building that passed away. I always knew he was into collecting and restoring Mercedes. When he killed himself his family found a really nice unrestored Gullwing in the back corner of his warehouse.

Please let us know more about your cool finds.

I do know him for about twenty five years we are in the same bussiness.
I got the first car about eight years ago and had to wait him out for the
rest . The first car i got was the 1967 vette big block 30,000 miles
The next was the carmaro's both 1967's next the other vette 67
the next porsche's and then jps cars and then the lincolns,
the anvanti's came next three of them a jeep cj5 and then the miura sv
stiil waiting to get the rest but mostly just boats and toys left!!!!

do not know what to do with it as of yet!!
the miura is the car to keep, but cost about 250,000
to redo !!!

ok the car was ordered from brumos in jacksonville fla
than trucked to ft lauderdale where he removed the
lenes and any fuel waxed them put it on blocks and covered
it up!!

I believe those are Dr. Fuhrmann seats in the 930.

The zipper is to access the sunroof motor.

It would be nice to see both of those cars back at Porsche for the museum.

I hope somebody don't try to drive it after the long rest it had. So many things need to be checked and gone through by a professional before driven.
