Momo Prototipo install - hub questions

I finally convinced my bud to let go of his Prototipo last night instead of the Forumling's he'd previously given me to try. WOOT! I'm detailing his K29'd twinplug'd crankfire'd Kokeln'd LWFW'd double valve spring'd Guards '79 in exhange 8-). Boy do I have my work cut out for me, needs full defibulation.

anywho

Question regarding the hub spacer thingamajig... anyone either have laying around or point me toward source for the proper mounting hub? This one was off a 914 and rests the wheel outboard by about 1" too much, not allowing the shaft's threads to protrude through the other side to grab the nut. And the diameter of the 'hub' is too small:

Any insight appreciated - pretty psyched about the score, can't wait to get it cleaned up and put on. 13.5" diameter vs. 15", and notably lighter - astounding how heavy the OE wheel is...

That's about the price for ALL Momo hubs, not just Porsche.

Jim - thanks for this tip.

100000% agree, moving the wheel toward me is paramount. I'm 6' and have my seat slid full-forward with knees nearing the bolster in order to acheive desired arm extension. It 'works' but it's not ideal.

Any further info you have on this would be great. I'll try searching that data now as well.

Tx again.

um 130mm, 130bux. - and the 1.25" Smart Racing extender will mount on top of it if you need extra length.

with a FLAT steering wheel, it falls just shy of the extended-length factory wheel position. with a dished wheel, it would be as close or closer to you.

and it doesn't look like Will Robinson's Robot's arms.

Too funny Kris - you're welcome to come fondle mine over beers sometime... umm... PROTOTIPO!!! 8-) Tho, I'm a "broke father of 3 with stay @ home wife" (queues world's smallest violin) so it's unfort. not going on anytime soon - d'oh. So, somethings never change, see? You're broke now / destined to be broke later heh heh.

I'll tell ya, I was cursing that !@#$%& Prototipo @ 2:35a.m. last night - I'm detailing my bud's Guards '79 "for it" (Ron was @ the gtg you came to at my place last year, great friend). I'm about f'n 15(!!!)+ hours into the f'n thing - parked it outside, under oak and pine trees - needles, pollen, sap, black mildew EVERYWHERE - and - the Ftard PO who detailed it got f'n wax into EVERY f'n crevice - argh!

SOOOoooo, I'm f'n 'earning' that mofo!

I really like the Momo he's got on the '79 a ton better - it's thicker rim'd (I think), w/ ergonomic hand holds, and has red double row stitching on the top and bottom center sections - TITS!

Hmmm, maybe after he sees his car f'n (literally) brought back from the dead (it was sooooo bad - all motor no 'detail'), I'll convince him he 'has' to trade muwHA! 8-). I'll post a pic tonight or something.

ps. Kris, how you coming along down thar??? And, you should aim to join us //SFest this year, 8/29 - bring one of yer folkzez ubersteeds yes?!

My bud just left from my detailing his '79. Anyone have any idea which Momo he's got? Just querious:

Whichever one it is - it's BALLZ. Kept trying to ahem 'persuade' him he would rather have the Prototipo he 'gave' me and let me have that one. F'n dig it!
