Did an early turbo come with a boost guage?
I have two of these cars, one is a 76 euro, and the other is a 76 USA. The euro car has a boost gauge in the tach, the US car does not.

My 76 is a Euro and didn't have the boost gauge in the tach.
Fastfred the serial # on mine is 9306700380. Our cars are probably pretty close.

I believe the boost gauge was introduced in 1977.

I have a 77 and I do have a boost gauge. 76 both USA and ROW no boost gauge.

My 76 came has a boost gauge in the console in front of the shifter.

I read that Fuhrmann ordered the boost gauge out of the first production Turbos because the 1975 car (the prototype) was almost never on boost in normal driving....
