Can't Wait - RarlyL8
Been chasing cracks in the Pumpkin's headers the first few events this year. Talked to Brian and I have a set of his cool headers on the way early next week.
Can't Wait! Bob

@RarlyL8
Is there an improvement at the head flanges (welded-on bushes)? Or just to add some weight

The bushes on the head flanges are actually spacers that accommodate longer studs. They are spot welded on one end so if your engine has short spacers you can pop them off with a screw driver. Leaving them loose makes installation more difficult. The design is as installation friendly as practical without compromising performance.

This set was made for a race car which is why the springs were retained. The tubes move around a bit during the first few heat cycles. Slip joints at the collector allow the tubes to settle out and not be under stress as they can be if welded, leading to premature failure due to cracking. Once the tubes settle and harden the springs can be removed if desired.
