Hi,

TurboKraft : Catalog Home : 930 High Performance Long-Neck Intercooler Package [930 LNIC TK] - $2,198.00 That other one recently listed is similar, also a "longneck" only slightly smaller. Don't know if it was a genuine Andial/Garretson unit, though -- some details on it looked odd (welding, throttle body neck, etc.) Still, probably very effective for most modified CIS 930 engines. If you're looking to relocate your A/C condenser we have some take-off 1991-94 Turbo intercoolers, too.

It wouldn't be an Andial, they were all anodized black, just call them and ask. Unfortunately no longer in production.
IMHO the TK is an excellent long neck IC. The B&B is probably the best available short neck IC. Fabspeed also makes a long neck IC, but I worry about the way it's mounted, looks good otherwise. Do your research the list is fairly short.

Seems like it's an Andial/ Garretson according to this site?
Andial Garrerson Install Instructions My 930 has a K27 7200 turbo, 0.9bar spring and B&B exhaust. I am also considering stacking original IC's. I know it is not as efficiant, but I assume it will do the job. Summer here is mostly 70F ish, so the IC (and air intake) will be fed with cool air. Car will see some track days. Anybody measured engine intake air from a stacked IC? According to this site, intercooler, stock (single) intercooler is 151F @ 85F ambient, while Andial is 120F @ 85F ambient. Stock 88 930. |
