Looks great. 11 months for all you did seems good time to me considering all the other things going on.
|
impressive work, esp considering all your peripherals going on in your life
engine drop to me is 911 Rite of Passage to owning one of these things problem is, I'm too chickenshiit to do it! My fear is exactly as you describe: get it out / apart, life presides, time passes, oops where did those bolts disappear to / where do they go again??? Yet you managed to persevere. One of these daze maybe I'll man up and stop being a Sally about it. LOVE your Charger, neat car! Again, kudos / congrats! Well done. ps. lol... engine pic, engine pic, wheel pic... Yellow Submarine??? Ha! You don't look Blue-ish!?... |
there is no such thing as a slippery slope with a 930. It's really a sheer cliff made out of ice and you fall off of it the very first time you feel the boost kicking in.

Thanks for the support oilonly and Paul.
Paul...take the plunge if you need to as far as DIY is concerned. Tough part is accurately assessing yourself for mechanical, technical, diagnosing capability....no problem stretching your limits...thats how we learn...its just how far. And very important to have experienced backup....I had Turbokraft, this forum, Waynes books, local shops. They are businesses....needed to give (ordering parts, outsourcing a little, etc) as well as take(technical experience)...respect their time with detailed questions, clearly communicated, without ego. You can do it if I can. Haaa.......Was just trying to document some of the life/family events that happened (Beatles museum in Liverpool, German beer, Porsche museum)in between 930 rehab.
